Como Vegan Festival

This weekend was Como's Vegan Festival :-) Yay! It was incredibly hot, so we went there on Saturday quite late, as our little group was bringing some four legged friends with, so i think we arrived after 7pm and some stalls were already packing away at that time :D but I returned on Sunday morning early when it opened again at 10am to have a roam around before I trekked back home to avoid the hot midday sun..... it was so worth going and going again, a truly enriching and heartfelt experience <3

There were lots of stands with different products, live music, vegan food, people representing animal sanctuaries and other there... lots to take in and all really focused on living with kindness to all beings which is the vegan way... Bought some really tasty and lovely vegan wines, vegan cheese made from cashews (there were several stands with that), bamboo underwear, jams, dried spices and other vegan products! I also bought a handheld fan for the hot weather from a sanctuary that saves animals from laboratories.... I'll put some pics of the different charities/sanctuaries so anyone interested can check them out & hopefully support if possible <3

It was beyond amazing to have lots of vegan food to choose from and I haven't had a crepes in years, so I went for an onion and apple crepes, my sister had a paella, our friend had a gyros and my husband had an orecchiette pasta with asparagus sauce! For dessert we all shared the cutest chocolate raspberry sacher cake - SO goooood! Found a whole bunch of new companies I didn't know about, spoke to some real nice people and learnt about some wonderful animal sanctuaries.... all in all, a super heart friendly weekend <3

Grateful to have gone there, grateful for all the people who work on behalf of the wellbeing and freedom of animals and all beings and grateful to see and connect to other people who feel and care deeply about the wellbeing of animals, nature, our planet and each other! I do believe there is a more beautiful world possible, here, now.  Blessings to all <3
