| Vegan gnocchi |
We were going around the lake and stopped in Moltrasio around lunch time <3 I usually like to check ahead for places that might have vegan options or call ahead to restaurants to ask if they can prepare something vegan for me if there's nothing suitable on their menu <3 but since this was just a spur of the moment thing, I checked my HappyCow app for restaurants in Moltrasio to see if any had vegan options, I didn't see any close to me flagged there... so walked up to the Baja di Moltrasio restaurant which looked really nice with a pretty view to the lake <3 and I checked their menu outside.... nothing vegan listed.....so I mustered up my courage and asked one of the staff there if they had something vegan or could just make me a salad or something <3 They were actually super nice and said they can make the gnocchi listed as vegetarian to be vegan ( take away the cheese ) for me <3 So we sat down by a table outside, enjoyed the views and the food was really nice and tasty! I sometimes get nervous asking people to make me something custom, but I have to say 9/10 times I've been really lucky that people are actually really nice about it <3 And the more who ask about, the more chances are they'll add something vegan to their menu, so that's good <3

P.s. The restaurant is right above Canottiere Moltrasio, where you can take rowing or kayak classes on the lake <3
