High up in the hills of Barni overlooking Lake Como is a cute restaurant with one of the best views....! Just check it out! Breath taking. It was a crisp, November day with a little remaining snow on the ground, but in the warmer summer months you can sit outside and enjoy your food with the enchanting view. Isn't the setting just dreamy?
Last time we came here I had the vegan burger and I think it was the only vegan thing on the menu at that time ( it was quite a while ago), but now there was also a vegan lentil vegetable teff pasta! Yay!!! So I went for the teff pasta and also got some agrodolce onions as a side dish. They were really nice - but look how many onions they were :D The pasta was super delicious and filling! Just be aware this is not a vegan restaurant, but they do have these two vegan options (the teff pasta and the vegan burger) on their menu as mentioned and a few vegan side dishes too such as salad, artichokes, mix boiled veggies etc.
Also I was so happy to see they had two vegan desserts - pear crumble and fresh pineapple. After double checking with the staff that it is indeed vegan, I went for the pear crumble and it was really nice! :-) It's just lovely that more of the local traditional restaurants here are getting more vegan options!!
