Was overjoyed with finding vegan options at Villa Grumello when I checked out the film festival there today <3 The event was catered by Lake Como local La Breva catering & banqueting and they said they cater a lot of the events at villa Grumello and they try to include vegan options on their menus...just so nice! One of the nice people working there is vegan so he really knows what he's talking about. Yes! The chef was also really kind. I had a lovely crema di zucca, pumpkin cream soup, it was super delicious! and for dessert there wasn't anything marked as vegan on the menu but they happily made me a baked apple with surprise walnuts inside! So good and such cuuute presentation <3 Love love love!
When Villa Grumello has events, check out if it's La Breva catering and there hopefully should be something vegan on the menu :-) The film festival was also cool, lots of really beautiful clips from archive films, and Villa Grumello is gorgeous with their gardens and lake/mountain views so definitely worth a visit <3 You can visit their gardens, free of entrance, whenever they're open and stroll around maybe pretending you live there and life is a beautiful dream. Ooooh at least I do that hehe :D Check their website for visiting hours and upcoming events.
