Vegan corner in restaurant bistrot Figli dei fiori
Vegan corner in Bistrot restaurant Figli dei Fiori
This is a bistrot restaurant so prepare that it is not a vegan restaurant. However there is a vegan corner on the menu with a few vegan options.
It's a very cozy restaurant with warm lighting, cute details and some lovely plants, Figli dei fiori translates to "Children of the flowers" in italian and there is a flower shop next door. It's in Como city center and close to the lake (on the same street and close by the vegan restaurant Vegami). I like to go here sometimes because I like the cozy plant vibes.
There are some seasonal menu changes here so we went recently to try some of their autumn vegan options. I'll add some pics and the vegan options below. I had the yellow polenta bruschetta with mushrooms and chestnuts for an antipasto and then the zucchini potato flan with sundried tomatoes, olives etc as a secondo. So tasty and good! Really yummy! I didn't have room for a dessert but they did have a vegan panna cotta on the menu. Here's hoping that one day there will also be a vegan chocolate cake dessert :-D
